Kyra of the North is his first novel and a testament to his belief that with hard work and perseverance, anything is possible. During the early years of David’s education, it became evident that he was struggling with reading and writing, and he was not progressing with his classmates. After being tested, he was classified with a learning disability, which affected how he comprehended and understood the structure of words when reading or writing. With the help and support of his family and educators, David was enrolled in special programs and classes to help him adapt as well as develop tools to help him throughout his life.

David obtained a BA in Graphic Arts from Western Connecticut State University and later an MS in Interactive Communication from Quinnipiac University.

David is a member of CAPA (Connecticut Author and Publisher Association), Connecticut Book Festivals, and is a member of the Fantasy Author Legion.
