Recently transferred police officer Eric Anderson is thrown into Elm City's most disturbing mystery: a string of deaths where victims are found with blackened, burnt eyes and ice-cold skin—yet no cause of death can be determined by the city’s medical office. On his first shift, he and his new partner have a chance encounter with a suspect and their first lead. While adjusting to his new life in the Elm City, Eric catches the eye of the lead singer of a popular local band during one of their performances, sparking an electrifying fling.
